I am a Ph.D. student in the Leffler lab at the University of Utah. My research focuses on the population genetics of malaria resistance in human and non-human primates. I have a bachelor of science in cellular and molecular biology from Oklahoma City University where I researched synaptic transmission in C. elegans. My hobbies include learning French baking and classic Italian cooking, backpacking, skiing, rock climbing, and puzzling.
